So many posts on Inner Christmas float through the Waldorf community during this time of the year. Many of us are standing back, taking stock and deciding how we can improve in the coming year. Over the last few years, I have given myself a challenge to work on this high level of mindfullness through the year, to start each morning asking the Holy Spirit to dwell with me through the day. I try to ask myself the hard questions, one of them being "Am I better than I was yesterday?" Not better than my neighbor, just better than myself. A continual striving to love myself and be stronger in my will than I was yesterday.
I wrote a post last year that I wanted to pass along:
During these evenings as we head toward Three Kings, think of your own gifts...may you have peace, may you remember love, may you strive toward humility, may you be the best you that you can be.
Love and blessings.
